On Saturday 24th June, we’re going to be taking on the National three peaks together which includes climbing the three biggest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scaffell Pike and Snowdon, all within 24 hours 🏔️🏔️🏔️

We wanted to do our bit to fundraise for a local charity, where our small donation might make a big difference. We’ve chosen Emmie’s kitchen (@emmieskitchen_mcr on Instagram).

They are a small charity set up by a young girl who was diagnosed with leukaemia and spent lots of time in Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. They provide meals, snacks and takeaways for all the terminally ill children & their families who don’t have the freedom to just up and leave the ward.

To be honest, we had never heard of the charity until Isaac (Adam’s nephew) had been mis-diagnosed with cancer and spent the weekend on the ward, where the family were fed. They’ve witnessed the joy the food brings to the families in their darkest times, and said it’s one of the things the kids look forward to.

If by doing what we’re doing can even raise a small amount of money to help Emmie’s kitchen out, it will be well worth doing our challenge ☺️
