Story

Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough provide a whole host of services, from Day Centre drop-ins, to home safety.

They know that growing older doesn't come with a manual. That's why they provide free information and advice to help so many people.

They deliver high quality, free services across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, which is why I will be running 50k (31.1 miles) on Saturday 26th October 2024 to raise funds to help keep these services going.

In later life older people may find themselves lonely or isolated, particularly if struggling with poor health or mobility and bereavement. We provide a range of vital services to include information and advice, practical support and opportunities to socialise. We support independence and provide help to enable people to remain living safely in their own home. Our mission is to promote the well-being of all older people and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
