Story
This year, I'm taking part in the Brighton Half Marathon for Amaze. It’s been over 15 years since I ran my last half marathon and that was back in Glasgow. I wasn’t sure if I was going to take part this year but my friend, who works for the charity, posted that they needed runners to fundraise so that was the little push I needed to sign up.
I’ve chosen to run for Amaze because it is a local charity that gives information, advice and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. They also support young people with SEND up to 25. I know that they do a brilliant job in our local area so I wanted to help them keep going!
I'll be lacing up my running shoes and hoping to raise £250. I know it’s not financially easy for a lot of people at the moment but if you do have anything spare, please consider donating. If you don’t, please consider even just sharing this link so that I can try to raise as much money as I possibly can. Huge thanks in advance for supporting Amaze (and me)!
