Every year, 1,683 lives are tragically lost on UK roads. These aren't just numbers—they're mothers, fathers, children, and friends, whose lives have been cut short in an instant. Brake believes that every road death is preventable.

Road Safety Week is happening from 18-24 November. As part of our commitment to road safety and supporting Brake, I am undertaking the Brake 5 Challenge on behalf of Brian Barr Solicitors, aiming to cover 55 kilometres during this week whilst raising £1,683, symbolising the lives lost.
