Story
Lucas lost his uncle Andy to brain cancer in 2019. He does not want other families to go through what his did, so has set out to raise as much money as possible to help fight this terrible disease.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
Lucas is fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK.
He has challenged himself to cycle 250 miles during the month of September. These rides have been strategically planned to maximise the level of challenge alongside the already hectic schedule of a football-crazy 11 year old.
This is his third fund-raiser for Brain Tumour Research and he is determined to keep going to raise money in memory of his uncle.
His Mum Emma, uncle Andy's sister, will cycle with him throughout the challenge in honour of her brother.
Please help them fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
