Story

Calling all animal lovers, nature enthusiasts, and people who just want to do some good for this planet!

I've taken up the challenge to run 50km in one day (AKA 31 miles, for you US/UK people) to raise money for Wildlife Vets International. WVI's dedicated veterinarians and staff work tirelessly on the front lines, providing critical medical care to injured animals and contributing significantly to the restoration of wild populations.

It's no secret that our planet's ecosystems are a bit wonky these days (to say the least). As natural barriers between wildlife, livestock, and people continue to be eroded, the risks from emerging infectious diseases also increase. This is especially true for endangered species, where low numbers and fragmented populations mean disease outbreaks can be particularly deadly. WVI train local vets and biologists to identify, monitor, and mitigate disease threats, treat sick or injured animals, & safely reintroduce species to the wild.

So, if you're passionate about protecting our wild friends and keeping our ecosystems healthy, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a difference. Your generous support will directly enable WVI to continue providing essential veterinary care to animals in need, from majestic lions to vulnerable species facing extinction.

But if that isn't convincing enough, consider donating just for the entertainment of watching me struggle through an insane 50km.... 50KM!!

In any case, thank you so much for your support. LET'S GO RUN 50K!!!
