I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to support the RVC's charity, the Animal Care Trust. They fund new hospital equipment, life-saving research and support the next generation of veterinary professionals.

Those who know me well, will know that our cat Albi was referred to the Queen Mothers Hospital at the RVC after what was suspected to be a road traffic accident. Without the truly wonderful support, empathy and skill from all the staff at the RVC, especially Dan our neurologist he'd no longer be with us. He's now on the road to recovery and continues to see the amazing staff; particularly Grace for hydrotherapy and Emily for physiotherapy, who he is big fans of!

This iconic race will take me through the heart of London, past some of the city's most historic and beautiful landmarks. As I run each mile, I'll be doing it for Albi and all the other amazing animals needing care. I haven't run for some years now so this will be a challenge for me, so if you could spare just a little to sponsor me I'd be so grateful and will work hard to train to be ready for this run in April 2025!
