Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I am running in memory of my friend Lolly Gilmour. Lolly was funny, intelligent, talented & an inspirational lady. Reading her posts on treatment and life living with Sarcoma were both difficult yet heart warming. Lolly was determined & positive and at 42 years old, she should still be here with her husband and two beautiful young children. That’s why I am running for Sarcoma UK to help fund research that may prevent wonderful people like Lolly & family from going through this cruel illness and give them the support the need to get through it.

Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep their Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.

Thank you for your support.
