Story
My running journey started back in 2017 running the London Marathon to raise money for the wonderful Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice in memory of my darling mum. Since then running has felt like my way to stay close to her and keep her memory alive
The last few years have seen my running take a new level with races and a run streak getting close to 1000 days, and I am always looking for ways to improve and challenge myself. Saturday 24th June sees my biggest challenge to date- a 34 mile ultramarathon!
Thinking of my mum is what gets me through those difficult sessions, and I would love to use this opportunity to raise a bit more money for the hospice that cared for her, so that they can continue to do their amazing work. Knowing that I am helping the hospice will make the run even more special, and will push me through as I run further than I ever have before.
I’d love if you could donate to such a brilliant charity, and I promise I’ll work my hardest to make it worthwhile! 🏃🏼♀️
