Story

Join us on our journey as we embark on the Zebra Kilimanjaro Trek - 2024, a challenge that will test our limits and push us to new heights.

With 20 colleagues and friends, we are determined to summit Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route this September. While many of us are not mountaineering experts, we will be working as One Team to conquer the highest point on the continent of Africa (and highest freestanding mountain in the world), standing at a staggering 5895 metres (19,341ft).

We will be raising money for several charities and I have chosen to raise funds for Derian House Children's Hospice.

This incredible charity provides essential respite and end-of-life care to over 400 babies, children, and young people across the North West, operating tirelessly 24/7 without ever closing their doors to those in need.

Their services are free for families, yet it costs £6 million annually to sustain their vital work, with less than 30% of funding coming from the government. Your support will make a meaningful impact in ensuring that they can continue their invaluable mission.

Together, let's make a difference and show our solidarity with those who depend on Derian House Children's Hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
