Story
Here I go again!!!!!
I'm walking 100 miles in 30 days for the bone and soft tissue cancer charity Sarcoma UK.
My story …
I have Leiomyosarcoma. Back in 2016 it started as a soft tissue sarcoma wrapped around a kidney and now is in my bones too. I know - how lucky am I!?!? As it has metastasised to my liver and lungs there is no longer a cure for me. I am undergoing palliative chemo treatment every 3 weeks and this is on going - no end date. As long as the chemo stops the tumours from growing - I’m winning.
Last year you lovely lot helped me raise so much - for which I am so so grateful.
This year (alongside the fundraising), could you give up an hour or so of your time to walk with me - or - join the group and do the whole 100 miles?
If I can do this alongside my 2 rounds of chemo within the 30 days - just think about what you could do ……
(If you join up - you’ll see I seem to be the face of it this year!!!)
