Louise's fundraiser for King's College Hospital Charity

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
My son Jamie was born with a deformity called fixed bilateral talipes (clubfoot) and has been treated at Kings college hospital since he was born. From 2 weeks old Jamie was in full leg casts, operated on at 9 weeks old and wore a foot brace until he was 5 years old. Because his condition can't be cured only treated , Jamie will continue to be under the care of Kings College Hospital for the foreseeable future.
From the very start of our journey the incredible staff at Kings have shown us so much love , understanding, care and compassion which has made our journey a much less daunting one.
Because of the treatment Kings have provided for Jamie his condition is almost unnoticeable and he leads a very normal , active lifestyle, just like any other 9 year old. We will be forever grateful to his physio Jill and all of the staff who have and continue to support us on our journey.
I am taking on the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon to support King's College Hospital Charity and raise as much money as possible!
