Grandad….

Grieving slow for someone you know,

Running strong and proud as you did as a dedicated solider,

Aiming for the finish line not finish time with you in my mind,

Never let go, your hand in my hand,

Distant eyes look into me, I wonder what you see,

ABBA ‘thank you for the music’ & the memories you bring,

Dementia….we remember your love and care when you can no longer remember.

I am raising money for Dementia UK and hoping to run, walk or crawl over the London Marathon finish line 2025!

I have two close family members (Grandfather and Uncle) who have been affected by this progressive condition. I am passionate about increasing awareness, raising funds for improving care for those living with the disease, giving vital support for family and loved ones facing this challenging journey and also the opportunity to research potential life-changing treatments.
