I’ve been lucky enough to have been given a place by Whizz Kidz for this year’s London Marathon, and to say I’m excited is an understatement! I’m so grateful to them for granting me a place, and it’s a charity which makes such a difference to disabled youngsters, and in particular my good friends, Ollie and Eileen’s daughter Emma, who has benefited from a wheelchair from this amazing charity. I’ve already started my training, as has my daughter’s fiancé, Pete who also has a Whizz Kidz place and I truly can’t wait to run the 26.2 miles with him for such a worthwhile cause 😍

They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.
