Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am very proud to support Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological disease which has no known cause and no cure... yet!

Hat and Home founder, Ben Gee was diagnosed with the condition in 2020 at the age of 41 and has been fundraising ever since.

I recently attended a Hat and Home Parkinson's fundraising quiz night and was persuaded by my family to sign up for the wing walk… ”it’ll be easy” they said, ‘you’ll love it!”

What a crazy decision! I don’t like heights and am terrified of small planes but what an amazing challenge to raise money for such a great charity.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
