Story

Hannah and I are combining our love of cricket with fundraising for a great cause. On the 16th July, alongside some of our Eastwood Town Ladies Cricket Club team mates, we will be taking on the #Donate4Dementia zipwire challenge over Trent Bridge Cricket ground.

Forget Me Notts is a project which uses sport as a vehicle for reminiscence and interaction between people with dementia, their carers and those experiencing isolation and loneliness. The scheme also facilitates a peer support network, short periods of respite and access to expert advice for carers.

We are combining our efforts and hope to raise some funds to help keep this vital community resource going.
