Story

In the next twelve months I am taking on A TRIO of challenges and your support would mean so much!

Firstly, I am taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September; then I am doing a Triathlon (date and event TBC) and then, the big one… between 3rd – 11th July 2025, I will be taking on the Tanzania Cycle Challenge 2025 – my biggest test having not spent a lot of time on a bike in years but one I'm super excited for!!

Each of these challenges will get increasingly difficult and my endurance will be put to the test but Tanzania will be especially challenging as I will be cycling for five days for up to nine hours a day 🥲. The team and I will tackle the mountain sides, rural road conditions and heat of Tanzania to raise vital funds for MAG.

Every day, around the world, 13 people are killed or injured by landmines or unexploded bombs and tragically, half of the civilian casualties are children. Women, men, and children live with the daily threat from these indiscriminate killers, unable to farm, attend school or play outside without fear.

I'm raising funds so that MAG can continue to find, remove, and destroy even more of these deadly items from places affected by conflict and provide risk education programmes so that people can live, work, travel and play as safely as possible until the land is cleared.

Please sponsor today to help save lives and build futures - thank you!
