Story
I’m pushing my fitness to the test to raise money for Jace, who is my son and needs more private Physiotherapy to enable him to walk unaided following SDR surgery and now a double hip reconstruction.
Jace is just 9 years old and has had 3 operations. The most recent in June 2023, this being a double hip reconstruction.
He was born with Cerebral Palsy and I was told he would never walk.
Before his hip came out of the socket, Jace was waking unaided thanks to his SDR operation in 2019 and intensive private Physiotherapy since.
Jace’s leg bone came out of his hip socket by 69%, stopping Jace from walking.
Now he has had his hip operation, Jace needs more intensive Physiotherapy. The NHS do not provide enough long term Physiotherapy to get Jace back to where he was before.
I am raising money to go towards this physio, so my son can walk again and enjoy playing with his friends!
All money goes to Just4Children, who is a registered charity and looks after all fundraised money for Jace’s Physiotherapy.
I will be running a mile a day throughout September to raise funds, I will be sharing my journey as much as I can! (previously I was taking part in MudGirl but they have cancelled the event and postponed tickets until 2024).
It would be hugely appreciated if you would be able to donate towards our cause and I cannot thank you enough for your support!
