Story

Back in May 2018 I ran the Shakespeare Half Marathon in memory of Helen Bestall and managed to raise a heartwarming figure of £2430 for Target Ovarian Cancer.

Helen is mom to Owen & Matty and she heartbreaking lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer back in 2017.

I spent most weekends of my childhood growing up with Owen & Matty as Villa season ticket holders.

Owen is now 19 and Matty is 22 and the pair of them are like brothers to me and are undoubtedly the strongest people I know - their dad Bezza (Steve) included in that - an absolutely incredible family, words can’t even describe.

(A quick mention that the family have also added a new member to the Bestall clan in Rico - their absolutely barmy Staffy, who joined the family almost 2 years ago).

Helen is sadly missed and on Sunday 21st April 2024, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of her again.

Any donations big or small are immensely appreciated as I begin to fundraise towards my £3k target.

Thank you for reading and I appreciate your support.
