I’m proud to be raising funds for Reuben’s Retreat by completing a 100km ultra-marathon. Most of you will know that I don’t run 1 millimetre over 5km so this is going to be so tough!

Reuben’s are a phenomenal charity, who support children living with medical complexities and bereaved families.

The Retreat was founded in 2012 by Reuben’s mummy, Nicola, just days after her son passed away in her arms.

Today, Reuben’s is a home-away-from-home for over 700 families, a safe and happy space for them to make cherished memories.

They also provide vital counselling services and support groups for bereaved parents, who have experienced an unimaginable loss.

Reuben’s are completely funded by donations to provide vital services so every penny that you’re able to donate really counts. Your donation will help to fund services such as;

- A bereavement pack for a brother or sister who has lost their sibling (£10)

- A sensory session for a child with additional needs to enjoy with their family (£25)

- A counselling session for a parent grieving the loss of their child (£45)

- A hydrotherapy session for the whole family in our state-of-the-art pool (£55)
