Story

Leo's Pride are raising funds throughout 2024, in memory of Leo Flett. Supporting the charity 'Held In Our Hearts'. We are raising funds to widen the services within the Highland area, to support bereaved parents of both baby and child loss. It has been agreed with the charity that any monies raised through Leo's Pride this year will stay within the Highlands.

On Saturday 6 July 2024, Leo's Pride will take on 'The Great Glencoe Challenge'. A marathon trek through rough terrain from the heart of Glencoe to the foot of Ben Nevis. The event will take place on Saturday 6 July 2024.

After Mitchell and I suddenly losing Leo back on 31 July 2019, we found that there were no support services for bereaved parents of child loss at the time, within the Highland region. Meaning, whilst dealing with excruciating grief, we then had to navigate our way through finding our own support to deal with the immense grief of losing Leo. Had Held In Our Hearts been up in Highland at the point, this would have been an invaluable resource for us.

If you can support the Pride in any way, big or small to help other bereaved parents in the Highlands, we would really appreciate it.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

Mitchell and Louise 🧡 🦁
