I want to raise money for St John Ambulance because of the incredible life saving education and support they provide across the UK.

They are a team of highly trained volunteers who give up their time to keep people safe at major events. As someone who has done many an endurance challenge, this was something I had taken for granted until I saw the incredible work they were doing at the London marathon in 2025 when I was a spectator.

It was extremely hot and St John Ambulance volunteers line the route supporting thousands of runners and I witnessed first hand the treatment they were providing to hundreds of runners and I know in some cases it was lifesaving.

Their presence meant everyone taking part could do so safely.

Beyond big events, St John Ambulance plays a vital role in providing first aid training and supporting emergency services and the community.

The funds raised will help train more volunteers , maintain equipment and continue saving lives every day.

This is my way of saying thank you to them, for often being the unsung heroes and making sure they can continue their incredible lifesaving work.
