AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.

Story

AFK are a disability and autism charity that help young people live more independent and fulfilling lives. They provide mobility equipment that isn’t available on the NHS to children and young people across the country. AFK also provide invaluable employability skills in an effort to close the disability employment gap, they do this by offering job coaching, travel training and working directly with employers from the job application through to interview and beyond.

In October we’ll be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge! In just 24 hours we’ll climb the three highest peaks in the UK all while raising vital funds so AFK can continue their incredibly important work. We’ll start at 7am in Scotland where we’ll tackle the mighty Ben Nevis, then we move swiftly to the formidable Scafell Pike in England and end on the Abominable Mount Snowdon in Wales sometime in the early hours. It’s gonna be a stomper of a challenge and one we’re incredibly excited for!
