In memory of our dad, John Smith, husband, dad, grandad and great grandad who sadly passed away peacefully at North Tees Hospital on 19th March.

Dad was an old fashioned gentleman who would not want a fuss or waste money needlessly. Therefore, the funeral will be immediate family only and we ask that instead of flowers, please donate to raise funds for the Oasis Suite at North Tees Hospital.

The oasis suite on Ward 24 was made available for our family which allowed us the precious time and privacy for our family to spend those last precious hours together in a comfortable room away from the hustle and bustle of the wards. The staff were there for us if we needed whilst allowing us the space we needed. This made a very difficult time bearable and we hope that by fundraising they can offer this special area to many more families.
