Story
I'm raising money for University Bristol and Weston Hospital Trust's hospital charity as I see the good work they do on a daily basis in my job.
The NHS is going through tough times, so are we all, so it's fine if you can't give much or at all. Just know that anything you can give will be put to fantastic use, even if you can give the price of a coffee. If you can't afford that, give me a message of support and know it means the world (as I'm not that fit these days and this WILL be a challenge!).
Just some information about where your money could go if you can give something:
By making a donation to my page, you'll be doing a great thing for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity. Your support means projects that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide become a reality.
£5 could go towards arts and crafts supplies for the children's ward.
£20 could go towards counselling sessions for an NHS staff member as they recover from the effects of the pandemic.
I've seen the hospital charity fund incredible things that have made a real difference to patients and their relatives. They're currently working to fund services for parents who've lost a baby or suffered a miscarriage.
I've also personally benefitted from therapy provided whilst working through the psychological impact of the pandemic and know how important that space to process has been to keep me working and well.
Your money will go to good use and all is appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
