When we found out we were expecting Betsy, we were over the moon. We started collecting baby clothes, bought her pram, and planned our future together. We were so excited. My pregnancy was normal, my scans were perfect, and she was growing nicely. Then one day, I started bleeding. We rushed to the hospital to discover that I had started to dilate and was told labor was imminent. I was airlifted from the Isle of Wight to Southampton to give our baby the best chance. Betsy was born at just 25 weeks, she was tiny, but my goodness was she perfect! She was doing so well, and suddenly everything changed. She left us at 7 weeks, and it was the most devastating thing to ever happen to us. Although she wasn't with us for long, we are so grateful for the time we did get with her. We got to make some beautiful memories with her that we will treasure forever.

I have set up this JustGiving page to raise funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance in memory of my father-in-law, Stephen Tutty, and our beloved Betsy Rose Riley. Having witnessed firsthand the incredible work that this charity does, I am inspired to give back and support their life-saving mission.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance provides an advanced critical care team to those in need across the region, offering vital support when it is needed the most. Their highly skilled crews of doctors, paramedics, and pilots work tirelessly to save lives and make a difference in our community.

It costs £15,000 a day to maintain this crucial service, and every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful impact. My goal is to raise £1000 to support the ongoing operations of this vital charity and ensure that they can continue to provide care to those who need it most.
