Welcome to Dr Tina Khan's HEART UK London Marathon 2024 fundraising page.

As a Consultant Cardiologist in a tertiary London-based cardiac centre treating many patients with cardiovascular disease with an interest in cardiovascular risk prevention and lipid management and as a member of the Medical, Scientific and Research Committee for HEART UK and Organisational Committee member for the HEART UK conference; I am wholeheartedly and personally dedicated towards reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease and the valuable impact of HEART UK.

Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol which can lead to heart disease. The funds you raise will help us to raise awareness of the dangers of high cholesterol throughout the UK; campaign for improved screening, identification, and treatment of people with raised cholesterol and help us support those diagnosed with either inherited or non-inherited high cholesterol and help reduce their risk of heart disease.
