Story

This is the combined fundraising page for Andrew, Henry and Zoë Lunt.

We are running the 2024 London Marathon for Sarcoma UK..Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat.

Andrew ran the 2023 London marathon for Sarcoma UK in support of our great friend Charlie, who, very sadly, lost his valiant battle against the disease in August last year.

Charlie lived his life to the full, especially during his fight against Sarcoma, and he was an inspiration to all that he met. Sarcoma UK supported him, his wife and his boys so well throughout his illness that we feel compelled to try and raise as much as we can for this wonderful charity by running the marathon.

This year sees Henry and Zoë (Andrew's nephew and niece) joining him in the event - it is assumed that they will be with him at the start and then leave him far behind!

Thank you for your support, it means so much to us, to Charlie's family and to Sarcoma UK.
