Story

On Sunday 7 April 2024 I am one of many taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half marathon in aid of the charity Challengers!

Challengers is a charity dedicated to breaking down the barriers of play for disabled children and young people. They provide inclusive play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people, aged 2-18 at their pre-schools, play and youth schemes all based across the Southeast. Challengers is a place where all disabled young people can have fun, make friends, and try activities they have never had the opportunity to before.

For more information on Challengers and the help they provide disabled children, young people, and their families, please see the video linked below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diWRwBFBAiw

About the charity

All children need to play, but for disabled children it is essential to help them reach their full potential. Challengers provides numerous play schemes for disabled children from across the South East. However, there are hundreds of children missing out every day and your gift can help them play.
