Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will be raising funds for the York and Scarborough Hospitals Charity. The funds you contribute will be channelled towards improving patient experience at York Hospital.

The Challenge

I have always wanted to learn to swim and only got to do so at the end of 2022, after 22 years of waiting for the right opportunity! Since learning, it's been a time of growth, resilience and pushing myself beyond my abilities and fears. I will be doing a half mile open water swim at the Lake District on the 9th of June. Through this swim, I will be fulfilling a lifelong dream, pushing the boundaries of my perceived abilities and raising funds towards a cause I'm extremely passionate about - healthcare. Talk about a triple win!

The Charity

York Hospital caters to 800,000 people living in and around York, North Yorkshire, North East Yorkshire and Ryedale - an area covering 3,400 square miles. Patients receiving treatment now and in the future at York Hospital will all benefit from the money you help raise. Thank you.
