Cats Protection Winter Campaign - Together

Big Winter Roam 2024 · 1 February 2024 to 29 February 2024 ·
This February I am taking part in Cats Protection's Winter Roam campaign to raise vital funds so that together we can make sure all cats are given a safe and loving home. I am walking 100 miles during February, and would very much appreciate your sponsorship or donations.
I am doing this in memory of my beautiful cat Lola, who was a rescue from Peterborough Cats Protection. She was a feisty character who brought a great deal of joy to my life.
Cats Protection understand the unique bond that is shared by cats and people.
That’s why they offer services and support designed to make life better for cats and people together, even in the toughest circumstances.
One of the ways they do this is through Cats Protection Lifeline, a dedicated cat fostering service that provides temporary, safe and loving homes for cats whose families are fleeing domestic abuse.
78% of domestic abuse professionals that Cats Protection surveyed have had cases where cats and kittens have been physically abused.
Domestic abuse victims who are already in a desperate situation need to know that a beloved pet is protected from abuse. They also need to be sure that their cat would be taken care of should they need to flee the situation.
I'm fundraising to:
Support expanding the Lifeline service so it’s available to more of the UK, provide essential food and supplies benefitting cats already in foster care and support more foster carers to open their homes and hearts to cats escaping domestic abuse
