I am excited to share that I will be hosting the "Drawn Out at the Airport - Sunday Morning Sketching" event on 9th February 2025.
An untutored indoor sketching event for adults at Brighton City Airport's AVRO Suite, with stunning views across the airfield towards the south downs, and close-up views of planes and helicopters ferrying along the runway. Suitable for sketchers at all levels - the Drawn Out sketching events I host are generally free or raise funds for charities, and attract people from all walks of life - who enjoy experimenting with observational or abstract drawing in a relaxed setting at their own pace, with a coffee.
Sketching participants need to book a via Eventbrite to secure a place in advance, and to place a donation via this Just Giving page, when you've done that - just turn up with sketchpads and pencils on the day. (No paints - as the venue is a fabulous Art Deco listed building).
This personal challenge is not just about leading sketching events - it is a heartfelt effort to raise awareness and funds for SADS UK, a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.
