150th Celebrations
This year we are celebrating 150 years since Lockers Park school was founded in 1874 by Mr Henry Montagu Draper.
We rely on the generosity of our Old Boys, their families, current parents and our community to ensure the ongoing success of our school. With your gift, more boys will benefit from a Lockers Park education as a secure foundation for their senior schools before going on to university, embarking on their career and for contributing to improving society
Our 150th Celebrations are raising money for a number of projects including:
Woodland Food Technology Suite
Our major development is the Woodland Food Technology Suite, a project that has been championed by the boys.
This amazing teaching resource would allow us to teach the boys how to cook and develop essential life skills. We are hoping to have an outdoor area for a pizza oven and BBQ to allow boarders more opportunity to dine outside whilst focusing on qualities of independence and collaboration. This area would include areas for students to grow their own food to understand the whole process.
Draper Bursary
In honour of our first Headmaster Montague Draper who founded the school back in 1874, we have set up the Draper Bursary as part of our 150th Celebrations. This sits alongside the other bursary initiative we have at Lockers Park.
The Draper Bursary will provide assistance for boys joining Lockers Park at any age. It supports talented and deserving boys who have the most to gain from Lockers Park, and whose families could not otherwise consider a private prep school education
