We working with Claire House and Kind to raise as much money for these charities.

Story

On the 21st September, 50 medical students from the University of Liverpool will be setting off in the early hours of the day, ready to take on the Borrowdale 7 - 7 Peaks including England's highest, Scafell Pike, 10-12 hours of walking and over 4800ft of elevation!!

They are doing this challenge to raise money for Claire House and The Brain Charity. Both are incredible charities local to Liverpool and provide vital services to terminally ill children and their families and those with neurological conditions.

See how your donations can help support these amazing charities:

Claire House:

£25 - Funds specialist nursing care to help families spend last days together

£40 - Funds butterfly suite care to support families with their final goodbyes

£60 - Funds counselling sessions for bereaved parents and siblings

Other donations - Help keep the doors open to the Wirral and Liverpool sites

The brain charity:

£3 - Supports monthly coffee mornings

£5 - Funds a weekly class, workshop or social activity

£10 - Funds weekly phone calls for those feeling isolated and lonely

£50- Funds 1-1 counselling sessions for those struggling with their mental health

This event is kindly sponsored by the Medical Defence Union (MDU)
