Story
May 22nd 2022 springs to mind as I write this... this date marked the day we completed our first (and only) Half Marathon. We cried, laughed and cried again as we held one another in what can only be described as one of the most overwhelming experiences we've encountered. I remember turning to Sarah and saying that there was absolutely no chance that i'd ever be able to do that twice over.... She agreed. Yet, here we are, doing exactly what we said we wouldn't do; a marathon!?
Last time around we run in aid of The Alzheimer's Society, and with the support of family, friends and strangers managed to raise over two thousand pounds between us.
Almost 2 years on and we are running for Cancer Research UK. A charity very close to both of our hearts for many reasons. We have the survivors that are still with us, others sadly fighting the battle and those we miss so very much.
We would love your support on this journey to the finish line. All donations are incredibly appreciated and any shares of our link would help us reach this goal ahead of the race in Manchester this April.
Thank you all! Now..... where's those trainers
