Run the Belfast City Marathon and raise funds for blood cancer research in Northern Ireland with Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.

Story

We are running the Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 5th May to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI (LLNI) which is celebrating 60 years of funding blood cancer research.

3 people a day in Northern Ireland are diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Blood cancer is the 3rd highest killer in NI and sadly can affect anyone. LLNI is the only local charity dedicated to funding the science behind improving treatments and patient outcomes.

We are running in memory of those we have lost, and also those who are still here thanks to research. 2 of us on the team, Aine and Beth, are LLNI-funded researchers, running with Richard (Chairman of LLNI), David (LLNI Board member) and Aimee (Cancer Medicine Student).

By supporting our relay team, you'll be helping us, and clinicians, in our aim to #BeatBloodCancerThroughResearch.
