Story
Thank you for visiting my page.
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Rob Metcalfe died of synovial sarcoma in 2022, at the age of 32. Rob was the son of my step-mum, Jenny. He created a series of video blogs that captured his emotions and the impact his illness had on him and his family. In the videos, he talks about the people he met, the advice he was given and the decisions he had to make during his illness and treatments.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this.
I'll be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on the 26th of May 2024 and ticking off each of the 21 kilometers alongside some of my friends. If you'd like to follow my training journey, my Strava can be found here: https://www.strava.com/athletes/92526802
Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the Sarcoma UK Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support.
