Story
My lovely Dad passed away a few years ago after suffering for over 10 years with PSP. This dreadful condition robs its sufferers of their ability to move, communicate and even swallow.
PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). Dave and I will be doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for this very worthy cause.
We will be running/walking/hobbling 24 miles (38.6 km) up 5200 ft of ascent in under 12 hours. This circular route includes Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent in beautiful Yorkshire, so the views will distract us from the blisters! We are hoping to complete the circuit in less than 9 hours, but we will see how well the old knees can cope! Our key aim is to raise as much money as possible. Our other aim is to get back in two whole pieces (preferably in time for last orders!)
Any contributions to this incredible charity would be very much appreciated ❤
