I'm taking part in 'Pendleside Does Strictly' to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice, who are aiming to raise £50,000 to fund the daily costs of running this amazing facility in my local community. I have a close connection with the hospice as they cared for my beautiful Mum. I volunteer at the Hospice in various roles and find it rewarding. I am representing the Hospice, volunteers and anyone who has a disability either visible or hidden. Life can throw you a curve ball at any time which can make you feel as though you cant achieve anything. I have hidden disabilities and hopefully I can show others that even though it may take time you can achieve anything you set your mind to with the support of family, friends and professionals.

My partner is Carol and she certainly has a challenge on her hands.
