There's a total of 30 miles of cycling, 2 miles of canoeing and a 10 mile hike up mt Helvellyn and back for this challenge!!

We are banding together for this event to support a cause close to our hearts and although its going to be a tough one, it will be so worth every ache pain and cramp training for and completing this challenge! It's nothing compared to what those suffering with Muscular Dystrophy go through every day, so we'll do our best to do them all proud!!

Imagine being told that your child has a severe muscle wasting disease. That's what happened to Liz and Sean when their son James was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at just 7 years old. Their world was turned upside down, and it only got worse when their twin boys Joshua and Myles were also diagnosed with the same devastating condition.

They've been fighting for a cure ever since, but it's been a struggle. This is a progressive disease, and without a cure, all three gorgeous boys will eventually lose all muscle function in their bodies. But they're not ever going to give up hope, and neither will their family friends and supporters.

Now, James is 17 and losing his ability to walk. The twins struggle constantly with their mobility and fatigue too. That's why we're participating in Pedal Paddle Peak 2024 to raise funds for the IFightForJames Family Fund. We believe that together we can make a difference and help fund the vital research needed to find a cure for everyone suffering from this terrible disease.
