We raise funds to restore the pipe organ to use in teaching, worship and concerts.

Story

The magnificent organ in Great Yarmouth Minster has been out of action for a little while and needs a complete restoration. This will cost in the region of £800,000, of which £120,000 has already been raised. We would like to do our bit to get this wonderful instrument back to full working order and fill the Minster with its glorious sound. We will be walking the Suffolk Coastal Path (aprox.60 miles), from Felixstowe to Lowestoft, in four days at the beginning of April.

Day 1: Felixstowe to Orford

Day 2: Orford to Thorpe Ness

Day 3: Thorpe Ness to Southwold

Day 4: Southwold to Lowestoft.

Please help to save this amazing instrument by supporting our efforts. Thank you.

We raise finance for the fabric and fittings in Great Yarmouth Minster; the largest parish church in the country. At present we are concentrating on the restoration of the fine historic organ by Hill in 1876. The organ is the largest in East Norfolk and has a great secular use.
