Hello, I am Alan or Al or Ashy or grandad and after 10years of being diagnosed with Parkinson’s I am celebrating my 70th birthday with a big party with friends and my lovely family and have requested no gifts but donations to Parkinson’s.

I have been a Huddersfield town football fan for many years and after retiring, when I was diagnosed, I was capable of driving myself to home matches but now I need a carer (as I don’t drive anymore) to take me and cannot thank Paul and his wife Jane for giving him time out from their gorgeous family and my wife Liz for taking me.

Also a BIG thankyou to all our friends and family who are looking after me in different ways.
