Lisa's fundraiser for Bliss

1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care. Our boys both spent 3 weeks in neonatal when they were born early and very tiny. Jim was just 1.4kg, Tom 1.7kg. Jim needed support to breathe and spent the first week in an incubator, while both were tube fed until coming home.
It was a very challenging time, but it also showed us the incredible strength and resilience of these little fighters. We witnessed firsthand the dedication and expertise of the medical staff who cared for our boys with unwavering compassion.
Now, as I approach my 50th birthday this year, I want to give back and make a difference for other families going through what we did. That's why I've decided to take on a personal skydiving challenge to raise funds for Bliss, the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick.
Bliss relies on donations to fund their vital work, ensuring that over 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year receive the best possible support. By supporting my fundraising page, you'll be helping Bliss drive improvements in neonatal care, advocate for policies that prioritise the needs of these precious babies, and provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
