Our Greatest Solstice Walk · 22 June 2024 ·

On the 22nd June there will be hundreds of people parading the streets of Lichfield to complete a 10K route to help raise vital funds for your local Hospice. They will be taking on the physical challenge, please show your support and donate today.

Story

On the 22nd June, me, my daughter Holly and friends Gayle & Shirley, will be taking part in the St Giles Solstice walk, in memory of my parents John and Maureen Fisher.

St Giles took care of my mom 30 years ago this year and my dad in 2018 when they both unfortunately lost their battles against cancer.

The care they both received was amazing in their final days, helping them to die peacefully and with dignity. The support they provided our family and to many other families in the community, will never be forgotten.

If you would like to come and support us on the day, we would love to see you all, see details below:

Location: Lichfield Rugby Club

Time: 4pm Welcome Party/6pm 10k Solstice Walk/7pm – Sunset Spectacular
