So.. i have decided to do this abseil down one of our beautiful cathedrals for 3 reasons.

Reason 1: Claire’s House is a fantastic charity and deserves every penny raised.(see below for more info)

Secondly: i haven’t challenged myself and done anything remotely daring for over ten years now.

Thirdly and more importantly, i want to be an inspiration to my children as they are to me as i watch them put themselves out there and try new things all the time when i can clearly see they are nervous. They go out there and make me proud. this is my way of showing i can be totally terrified but get through it and complete something worth while.
