Story
For loved ones who we have lost but never forgotten, loved ones who have survived this brutal disease and for those still going through it ⚓️ 💎 ❤️
On the Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May 2024, I will be joining 23 Courage models on the catwalk at the P&J Live and flying the flag high for Friends of ANCHOR.
On the 7th June 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My world fell apart. Coping with a cancer diagnosis as an adult is one thing, but having to break the news to the most precious little humans in your life (our son Ollie, aged 11 & daughter Sophie Rae, aged 7) was utterly soul destroying. I was apprehensive over my future and how this would affect our children but with the guidance, care and support from FoA, we were able to break the news to our children, as best as humanly possible and we felt prepared for any difficult questions ahead….. and little did I know at the time, but this was just the start of the outstanding care and support that I was about to receive from Friends of ANCHOR. No stone was left unturned.
Friends of ANCHOR admin costs are all covered by local company Balmoral Group, so you can rest assured that 100% of your donation will do great work.
In 2022, Ross & I raised £9,339 taking part in the 26 mile Kiltwalk and all proceeds were donated to Friends of ANCHOR and it would mean the world to us, to be able to top up our total amount as we continue our fundraising efforts.
All donations are hugely appreciated.
With Love
