Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

This year, Welsh Border Car Club Border 100 road rally is in memory of Les Roberts a good club friend and also cousin to Dude and GT and uncle to Dale.

Without Les. we can all honestly say that we would never have known about road rallying , never mind get involved with such events. He brought rallying into our family.

Les himself, was a very competitive participant, and encouraged us in our early rallying , right up to the end.

Les made ‘Trout Hairpin’ and the valley of Cwm Nant famous in the rallying world and they remain so to this day.

Sadly, in August of last year, we lost Les after a battle with Prostate cancer. With the help of Wendy (wife) , Lisa (daughter), Gary and Neil (sons) and rest of the family, it is their wish to raise awareness of Prostate cancer through this event.

As a very personal event, we as the organising team wish to deliver an entertaining night in memory of Les.
