Story
The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse
That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
Those reading this that know me, will understand how close this charity is to my heart. I am in no way a runner, this will take everything I have to give on marathon day. I have personal reasons for continually supporting this charity, along with running the marathon in April. With the help of you all I would like to raise funds to continue this invaluable work - on average a child contacts Childline every 25 seconds, this costs the charity £4 for every call taken. If I can raise the £2500.00 goal, this will pay for 625 children in their hour of need. Thanks for your support. Lisa x
