Story
As some of you know, I’m running the London Marathon this year, my first (and possibly only) marathon!
What most of you don’t know is that I recently lost my dog Tala. She was only four years old and had been diagnosed with epilepsy. Despite medication, blood tests, and countless vet visits over the past year, her seizures became too much for her. It’s been a tough journey and past few weeks so in her honour, I’ve decided to raise funds for The PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals).
I was fortunate to have Tala’s veterinary costs covered through insurance and personal means, but many pet owners aren’t as lucky. The PDSA provides vital veterinary care for pets in need, offering free and low-cost treatment to help keep beloved animals with their families rather than being surrendered due to financial hardship
Every pet deserves to lead a happy and healthy life. As the UK's leading veterinary charity with 48 Pet Hospitals, The PDSA improve pets lives through prevention, education and treatment.
Every year their dedicated veterinary teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets in need - all made possible thanks to people like you.
Many thanks
Lisa
