Walk in our shoes is back for 2024 – and it’s bigger than ever! This year we’re stepping it up and challenging our supporters to walk 350K steps in September to mark our 35 years of care.

Story

Many of you will know that Severn Hospice took wonderful care of my dad and Jason’s mum, going above and beyond for our family in those incredibly difficult times which still continues today.

Ellie and I are going to complete 350,000 steps each in 35 days and we would really appreciate any support to achieve as much money as possible.

Severn hospice info - For 35 years, we have been supporting local people facing heartbreak. Every year, our nurses and care teams walk an average of 10,000 steps a day while providing the specialist support that means so much to local people who need it. None of this would happen without our supporters.

This year we’re challenging you to take part in our XL step challenge. To support us, all you need to do is walk 10,000 steps for each of our 35 years, reaching 350,000 steps in September and to fundraise for us while getting those steps in.

Your support means the world to us. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost – we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend.

It's because you care that we can.
